The UAE was formed on the 2nd of December 1971 and since then has been a leader in trade, commerce and tolerance in the region. To commemorate the UAE’s upcoming 45th National Day, Dubai has a myriad of activities for you, friends and family to enjoy in and around the city. Below is a quick round up of events happening this National Day weekend (December 1st to 3rd).
November 27th to December 3rd
If you are looking to start your celebrations early then head down to the trendy City Walk on Al Safa Street for a National Day Carnival full of live traditional music, pop up boutiques and plenty of games and fun for kids. With its famed retail and dining outlets, City Walk is the ultimate mix of modern Dubai with a dash of old-world European charm.
Fancy some traditional Arabic folk music? Then head down to Dubai Mall, Mirdiff City Center, Festival City, The Beach at JBR and Mall of the Emirates and enjoy a free National Day Arabic Music concert. These concerts will feature various Emirati artists and will start from 8 pm onwards.
Finish your national Day weekend off in style by taking in the spectacular fireworks display scheduled to launch at The Beach in JBR from 8:30 pm. Popular with tourists for its sandy white beaches and dining options, fireworks at The Beach will be the perfect way to end your UAE National day celebrations.
